Cape Fear Academy will host a Lower School Chess Tournament on Saturday, April 29. Players of all skill levels in Pre-K through Grade 5 are welcome, and the registration fee includes four guaranteed matches. This tournament is open to CFA students as well as the general public.

Cape Fear Academy's choir program provides a nurturing environment for talented and enthusiastic student musicians. Under the guidance of choir director Alexa Skelly, the program has witnessed significant accomplishments and fostered a sense of community and excellence among its student musicians.

The Ocean Pollution Project is Grade 1 signature program. Teachers and guest speakers integrate various educational activities over the course of several months, culminating in the students' Ocean Academy presentation to family and friends.
